Artisan Bars Storage and Handling Instructions

Store in a Cool, Dry Place: When chocolate is kept at a consistent temperature below 70°F (ideally between 65 and 68°F), and at a humidity of less than 55%, the emulsion of cocoa solids and cocoa butter will stay stable for months.

Keep them away from sunlight: Remember that good chocolate melts in your mouth as well as your hand, let alone direct sunlight.

Four Month Shelf Life: We stand behind our four-month shelf life statement but if you need to keep your product just a little bit longer, check our freezing instructions below.

9-12 Months of Frozen Artisan Bars: Seal the tray as tight as possible to prevent moisture from getting inside and possible condensation build up. If you have freezer bags, you can put a sealed tray in the bag to protect it even further. Once packed/wrapped correctly place them in the refrigerator for 24 hours then place them in the freezer.

VERY IMPORTANT: Once you are ready to take the chocolates out, place them in the refrigerator for 24 hours and then take them to room temperature. This will help with sugar bloom (the greyish/white coating that chocolate can get sometimes if not handled correctly). This should allow for a 9 month suspended state of the shelf life to allow you to keep your artisan chocolates even longer.
